Your device contains various recyclable materials.

That is why we would ask you to bring it to a collection point in your city. The packaging consists of recyclable materials as well and needs to be disposed in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance to city and country regulations.

Cleaning

  1. Ensure that your device is turned off and does not charge.
  2. Pull the handle out of the suction tube
  3. Unlock the dust container with the release button and take the dust container off the handle
  4. Hold the dust container far away from you, deep into the garbage can.
  5. Push the release lever in order to open the lid of the bottom of the dust container. The lid will open and the dust will drop into the trash can.
  6. Lightly pat the dust container in order to release bits of dust, that might have gotten stuck. We also recommend using a dry cloth or a brush with soft bristles to clean the container even more thoroughly.
  7. Close the lid of the dust container.
  8. Reattach the dust container to the handle. In order to do so push the dust container into the locking mechanism until they audibly engage.
  9. Ensure that the dust container is properly attached.
  1. Ensure that your device is turned off and does not charge.
  2. Empty the dust container
  3. Close the lid of the dust container.
  4. Grab the dust container on the bottom end and pull the round filter upwards and out of the container.
  5. Pull both, the cyclone dust separator and the inner filter, out of the dust container at the same time.
  6. Pull the inner filter out of the cyclone dust separator.
  7. Empty both of the filters into a trash can and rinse with water.
  8. Allow the filters to air-dry or put them on top of a radiator. This can take up to 72 h. If you have to use the vacuum cleaner during this time, you can get a substitute filter on our website or by contacting our service.
  9. Reassemble the separate parts of the dust container
  10. Reattach the dust container to the handle. In order to do so push the dust container into the locking mechanism until they audibly engage.
  11. Ensure that the dust container is properly attached.

Once the suction power of your vacuum cleaner diminishes we recommend checking your filter and cleaning it, if necessary.
You can also clean it every time you empty the dust container or whenever you deem it to be necessary. Check item 5.2 in the manual to find out how.

Troubleshooting

Possible cause: The dust container and/or accessories have not been reattached and locked properly after disassembling.

Solution: Check the locking mechanism and whether everything is attached properly.

Possible cause: The brush roller is too dirty.

Solution: Clean the brush roller (for instructions please check p. 21 5.3 in the manual)

Possible cause: The brush roller is too dirty.

Solution: Clean the brushing roller. (for instructions please check p. 21 5.3 in the manual)

Possible cause: The battery is fully discharged.

Solution: Turn the device off and charge the battery. (for instructions please check p. 15 in the manual)

Possible cause: The power adapter is not plugged in properly.

Solution: Check whether the power adapter has been plugged in correctly. (for instructions please check p. 15 in the manual)

Alternatively:

Possible cause: The battery has not been inserted properly.

Solution: Detach the power adapter and check whether the locking device of the battery is completely engaged. Afterwards, reconnect the power adapter.

Possible cause: The dust container is at maximum capacity

Solution: Empty the dust container. (for instructions please check p. 19 5.1 in the manual)

 

Alternatively

Possible cause: The filters are dirty.

Solution: Clean the filters. (for instructions please check p. 20 5.2 in the manual)

Alternatively

Possible cause: The nozzle in use does not work properly with the surface at hand.

Solution: Use a suitable nozzle for the surface you want to clean. (for instructions please check p. 14 in the manual)
